Wearing Red, White, and Blue

Dressing for the 4th of July

Jul 2, 2018

The Fourth of July is so close!

Just like any holiday, it's fun to dress up for the occasion—even if it’s just to run errands for the day.

You may love to go to the highest spectrum of holiday—dressing like American flag with everything from your shirt to your handbag—but a lot of women may think, “I’d like to dress up for the 4th, but how do I do it fashionably?”

For starters: Wear stars or wear stripes, but refrain from wearing them together- unless the combo makes you especially patriotic!

Americans love their denim; we are the birthplace of the blue jean after all. Wearing a nice chambray top or dress will help you sing your American pride, and a good ole pair of denim shorts or jeans will do the trick too.

If a knit top is on your mind, but you don’t want to wear a flag, a color-blocked tee is right up your alley.

A white ensemble is always a great choice so that you may accessorize accordingly with red and/or blue. You can accompany your outfit with a red shoe, colorful jewelry, maybe a fun pair of sunglasses. Get creative!

A dominantly red, white, or blue top or dress with one of the other colors as embroidery is the perfect color combination.

As always—fashionable or not—dress exactly the way that makes you feel your best!
