Tupelo Elvis Festival is a celebration of Tupelo's native son, Elvis Presley and his impact on music around the world. 2022 marks the 24th year of an internationally recognized festival licensed and sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc!
Tupelo Elvis Festival is presented by the Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association in partnership with the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau and hosts an Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist (UETA) Contest Preliminary Round, drawing competitors from all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The event includes multiple concerts featuring professional Elvis Tribute Artists from around the world.
While music is certainly an important part of the festival, there are multiple ways to enjoy Tupelo’s Elvis experience. Stroll the streets of downtown Tupelo and watch actors portray individuals who influenced Elvis’ early years. Test your endurance in Running with the King 5K and applaud your favorite gospel tune with the festival’s finale at Gospel Sunday.
There is even "The Becoming" Experience at the Birthplace - a competition catering to youth Elvis Tribute Artists ages 12-17. To top it off, hear enlightening conversations with the people who actually lived the day-to-day life with Elvis during Conversations with Tom Brown. From the Birthplace to Downtown, the Tupelo Elvis Festival in Tupelo, Mississippi is truly an authentic experience for all ages!
