Russell Lands introduces its newest luxury lakefront community

Lake Martin features nearly 900 miles of shoreline around 40,000-plus acres of pristine water. Russell Lands’ latest addition, The Heritage, is situated on 1,500 acres of that waterfront, spanning 12 miles of pristine shoreline.

Featuring house plans designed by some of the most renowned lake home architects and designers in the South, The Heritage includes approximately 240 spectacular waterfront homesites and 130 wooded interior lots, all of which were designed to provide a comprehensive Lake Martin experience and provide ample lot size and privacy. All of the waterfront properties at The Heritage maximize unparalleled water views and enjoy proximity to Wicker Point Golf Club, the only Coore & Crenshaw private golf course in Alabama and the centerpiece of the community.

The 18-hole, private Wicker Point Golf Club is expected to open in 2023, and it is defined by its pine plantations, meandering creeks, and lakefront holes. The craftsman-style clubhouse will feature a wraparound porch, views of multiple holes, and an ambiance to enjoy a quiet afternoon, delicious meal, or simply relaxation after a round. In addition to the clubhouse, there will also be a standalone golf shop—complete with pro shop and men’s and women’s locker rooms—and a “wind down” room, which will include a lounge area and adjacent bar.

Another amenity specific to The Heritage is The Benjamin Lake Club, a resident-owned waterfront lake club designed for gathering. The club’s design, created by renowned Atlanta-based Cooper Carry, perfectly integrates indoor and outdoor recreation and features a clubhouse complete with indoor event space, catering kitchen and event bar, fitness facility, saline pool, grill facility, tennis courts, tennis pro-shop, and pickleball courts. Guests at The Benjamin Lake Club can also enjoy a beautiful event lawn, covered pavilions, firepits, waterfront beach area, and community dock system.

There’s so much more to enjoy at Russell Lands in addition to The Heritage-specific amenities. Because The Heritage is part of Russell Lands’ collection of communities, homeowners and guests have access to a variety of delicious dining options, including SpringHouse, Kowaliga Restaurant, Catherine’s Market, and the new BRU 63. There’s also plenty of special events and live entertainment to enjoy at The AMP, an open-air amphitheater, numerous trails for hiking and biking, horseback riding, and an on-site Naturalist who educates guests on local flora and fauna. Only at Russell Lands can so much fun, natural beauty and delectable dining be just minutes away from your door.

Only a few homesites remain in the first phase of The Heritage. Don’t miss your chance to start your own cherished traditions. Learn more about Russell Lands and its remarkable communities here.
