There’s no better way to kick off the holiday season than at the beach, and The Village of Baytowne Wharf is hosting what has become the sought-after annual event that gets everyone into the Christmas spirit: Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights.

To be held on November 20 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm, the 9th Annual Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights will take place on the beautifully decorated streets of Baytowne Wharf. Attendees will enjoy seeing the street decked out with thousands of twinkling lights, festive greenery, and variety of other holiday decorations. Christmas carolers will also be meandering through The Village throughout the evening, singing carols and making spirits bright. “It’s a great way to enjoy being out in The Village while also supporting our local merchants,” says The Village of Baytowne Wharf Events Manager Leighann Elliott. “It really is a fun and fabulous way to get into the holiday spirit as the season begins.”

While enjoying the dazzling display and well-loved carols, attendees can also partake in a variety of champagnes and sparkling wines, as well as appetizers prepared by local chefs. “The entire menu will feature dishes prepared exclusively by The Village restaurants, so guests get an opportunity to see the great culinary options The Village has to offer if they haven’t already,” Leighann adds.

The culmination of the evening is the lighting of The Village Christmas tree and a preview of the choreographed light show, 12 Nights of Lights. “This year we will have a new, bigger Christmas tree, so we’re especially excited about this year’s lighting ceremony and the preview of the light show,” says Leighann. “It’s a fun evening that gives to a great cause.”

Sponsored by Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and Sandestin Wine Festival, the one-night only event will sell out fast. Proceeds of the event go toward the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. Purchase your tickets here.
