The Alabama Gulf Coast to host the 6th Annual Sweetest Chefs

This fall, the Alabama Gulf Coast will be hosting an event highlighting everyone’s favorite part of the meal: dessert. The 6th Annual Sweetest Chefs takes place at The Port at The Wharf in Orange Beach, a top-shelf culinary event spotlighting America’s top pastry chefs.
To be held Friday, September 17, Sweetest Chefs will feature more than 20 dessert tastings from chefs all over the South. Top talents are already on the line-up, including Big Spoon Creamery & Sons Donuts’ Chef Geri-Martha O’Hara, Voyager’s at Perdido Beach Resort’s Chef Lennon Harrison, and New Orleans’ hotspot La Boulangerie’s Chef Maggie Scales.
The event will also offer attendees unique opportunities to watch some of the top professionals in the industry do what they do best: bake. Dessert demonstrations by top pastry chefs take place on the Rouses Market Demo Stage, including Chef Thomas Nuprasong, Chef Brittany Garrigus-Cheatham, and Celebrity Chef Dwayne Ingraham, who was named “Best Baker in America” on the Food Network.
In addition to tasting the many delectable desserts prepared by America’s top pastry chefs, attendees also get to serve as judges, cast a ballot for the 2021 Sweetest Chefs Awardss and even watch winners be announced.
Advanced tickets are required, and different levels of tickets are available. A single general admission pass includes a welcome cocktail and ballot to vote for the People’s Choice Awards, three live chef demonstrations, and approximately 20 pastry chef tasting tables plus other food and beverage options.
