Step 1: Fold your napkin like a fan, first in one direction then the other, until it makes a long, thin rectangle.

Step 2: Fold the rectangle in half, then in half again. Secure with rubber bands.

Step 3: Make two bowls of different colored dye. Dip half the folded napkin into one color, and half in the second color.

Step 4: Let the napkin dry for at least 6 hours, but up to 24 for a more vibrant color. Unfold and rinse under warm water until water runs clear. Wash and dry to finish.

Step 5: Invite your best friends over for dinner, make an amazing meal, and enjoy your napkins!
