Hurricane ETA has left a devastating reality in Honduras. Torrential rain flooded many towns and cities, and the aftermath is heartbreaking and massive. The flood has destroyed bridges, roads, cars, and buildings.
People have lost homes, possessions, and loved ones. Some have lost everything. The evacuation notices were given too late and the flood waters rushed so quickly in some areas that they didn't get anything out as they ran out of their house to save their lives. Many people are currently in schools, churches, and other locations that have been set up to house them temporarily. They need food and basic items immediately.
