Pasta Night: A Recipe for Quarantining

Pasta Night: A Recipe for Quarantining

Everyone loves pasta, but with the extra time at home, why not step up your pasta game? Homemade noodles aren't as hard as you think! Just follow this simple recipe from Chef Hunter Evans, and you'll never want to use store bought noodles again!

Easy at Home Pasta
Elvies | Jackson, Mississippi

• 2 cups flour
• 2 whole eggs
• 2 egg yolks

1. Mix ingredients together (I use a KitchenAid mixer at home) and kneed with a dough hook. If the dough seems a little dry, add a splash of olive oil, and continue to mix.
2. Take out of the bowl and kneed into a ball. Wrap and place in fridge for 1 hour (this dough freezes well too!).
3. Remove from fridge and roll out the dough. You can use a hand crank or even just a bottle of wine! If usinga  wine bottle, roll the dough till very thin, and heavily flour the dough. Fold the dough onto itself a few times and cut noodles by hand with a knife into whatever shape you desire. Once pasta is cut, be sure to toss in flour again so it doesn’t stick.
4. Cook pasta, strain and add your favorite store-bought or homemade sauce!
