Weddings are a celebration of love, so how could we not pay tribute to the ultimate holiday of love this time of year, but who says Valentine's Day has to be all pink hearts and red roses?! We are crushing on this color palette where soft gray details and touches of black accents pop against the luxurious hunter green velvet linens and lounge furniture, a striking but delicate combination perfect for any autumn or winter wedding.
Katie Byrd Photography captured the gorgeous design and elegant details in this inspiration shoot that we're certain you will fall in love with. An asymmetrical half-moon ceremony altar and a jaw-dropping tiered cake table display are front and center in this styled shoot at Park Crest Event Facility in Hoover, Alabama. As for the tablescape decor, galvanized black chargers with gold etching complemented classic white stone china & modern brass flatware. While soft, white chiffon fabric served as the table runner, dark hunter green velvet linens were paired with the table setting, letting the modern details make the bold statements.
"We wanted to showcase a bolder, but still feminine, design with rich colors and details that couples would love but may be hesitant to incorporate into their wedding day," stated Hayden Edinger with the Edinger Collective and Canterbury Paperie. With the contemporary southern couple in mind, the creative team transformed this industrial space with farmhouse accents into the moody, romantic reception we have all been dreaming of.
