A great restaurant is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the ingredients on the menu. The patina of the bar. The curve of a welcoming banquette. The way light settles across the room at dusk. These details set the tone, tell a story, and invite us to stay awhile.

ATLAS | Atlanta, GA

Designed to showcase both the architecture and the restaurant’s exceptional art collection, with emerald-green walls serving as a dramatic backdrop for rotating 20th-century masterworks.

A compartmentalized layout, including the entry, Papillon Room, bar and lounge, and main dining room, creates distinct moods in each area of the restaurant.

The environment feels like an intimate, luxurious art gallery, surrounding diners with museum-quality pieces and creating an immersive sensory experience.

The private Papillon Room is wrapped in approximately 3,000 decorative blue butterflies, adding whimsy, texture, and elegance.

THE CATBIRD SEAT | Nashville, TN

A 25-seat Tennessee Pink Marble counter surrounds the chefs, while custom Bird’s Eye Maple cabinetry with integrated lighting creates a warm, glowing canopy above guests.

Floor-to-ceiling windows allow natural daylight during prep, with sheer drapery transforming the space into a more controlled, intimate environment at night.

The Wine Lounge is a dedicated pre- and post-dinner space anchored by an emerald green quartzite bar and plush seating, extending the dining experience before and after the meal.

COUNTER | Charlotte, NC

The space functions as a rotating gallery, with the artwork changing alongside each new menu. With 56 menus, the space has become 56 unique galleries along the way.

Guests are fully submerged in the story of the evening through pairing music with food and a state-of-the-art audio system, creating a refined listening experience.

The most iconic element of the restaurant’s design is a one-of-one installation created by North Carolina artist Stephen Wilson. Vinyl covers from various albums have been turned into an installation of hand-crafted butterflies, creating an element that serves as the first connection between story, music, and art.

ZASU | New Orleans, LA

Zasu is housed in a narrow Mid-City shotgun-style building, intentionally designed to feel warm, personal, and neighborhood-driven rather than formal fine dining—approachability with refinement.

The dining room features three large-scale custom artworks by New Orleans artist Mallory Page, while quartzite stone, custom brass inlays, and warm brass light fixtures cast a soft glow across the room.

Custom color-matched acoustic panels reduce echo while preserving the visual aesthetic, ensuring the dining experience remains intimate, relaxed, and conversational, with a cocooned, elegant feel and understated energy.

WILD COMMON | Charleston, SC

Designed by Lynn Easton and Dean Porter Andrews, Easton Porter Group.

Guests enter through a white, candlelit hallway, offering a glimpse of the sweeping staircase before opening into the more dramatic main dining area.

The interior blends refined character with natural warmth, featuring soft, organic tones of white, pale green, and warm brown, complemented by reclaimed-wood dining tables and a mix of custom and antique pieces.

An elegant marble bar anchors the room while birdcage-style fixtures, conical pendants, and candlelight throughout the restaurant create a soft, enveloping ambiance.
