I wasn’t sure what apple butter and ricotta would taste like together—but let me tell you, it’s delicious! I took one bite and couldn’t stop. I will happily eat this for breakfast all fall long.
Ingredients:
– Sourdough
– Ricotta
– Apple butter (I used a recipe from A Bountiful Kitchen that can be found here. I like it because it is done in the pressure cooker (a slow cooker would work too), and there is no peeling involved.)
– Granny smith apple
Method:
Toast the sourdough bread. Top with ricotta, then apple butter, then sliced apples. Enjoy!
